The Point farm originally covered 600 acres of farmland and ran 2000 sheep. Today we have 90 acres and run 300 Drysdale sheep on the farm which forms part of the Kaikoura Peninsula. While staying at The Point come and see the sheep shearing show and catch up with the famous "Ram Man"; he eats out of the palm of your hand. Enjoy the beauty of the natural landscape of Kaikoura with a walk to the Seal Colony and around the Peninsula walkways.

If you are an early riser, why not make the most the early morning sky and watch the sunrise over the bay. In the evening take a stroll along the beach or sit and relax on the veranda and be mesmerised by the stunning sunsets.
